Privacy Policy

This policy explains what First Tuesday List ("we", "us") collects when you visit firsttuesdaylist.com or subscribe to our emails, and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you sign up for the free list or become a member.
- Membership records, if you become a member: your email address, your Stripe customer and subscription IDs, your plan and its status, so we can give you access. We never receive your card number.
- Basic, anonymous usage data, such as pages viewed and the type of device, so we can see what's useful. We don't use advertising cookies.
- Messages you send us, if you email us.
How we use it
- To send the weekly list and the First Tuesday Brief, and occasional product news such as the membership launch.
- To answer your questions.
- To understand and improve the site.
We never sell or rent your email address, and we don't pass your details to agents, lenders or other buyers.
Services we rely on
Some companies process data for us, under their own privacy policies:
- Cloudflare hosts the site, stores subscriber and member records, and provides privacy-friendly analytics.
- Stripe processes membership payments (stripe.com/privacy).
- Resend sends our emails: the welcome email with the spreadsheet, the weekly Brief and members' sign-in links (resend.com/legal/privacy-policy).
- Google provides the map, Street View and fonts. When the map loads, Google receives your IP address and browser details, as with any Google Maps page.
Links to Zillow, Realtor.com, Redfin and Google open their websites, which have their own policies.
The property information on this site
Property details come from public records published by Harris County offices. We don't publish the names of borrowers or homeowners. If you believe something about a property is wrong, email us and we'll review it.
Your choices
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, email [email protected].
Cookies
Members get one cookie, ftl_s, that keeps them signed in for 30 days on that device. It's needed for the service and isn't used for advertising or tracking.
How long we keep it
We keep your email while you're subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we keep only what we need to respect that choice.
We keep member records while the membership is active and for up to 7 years after, for tax and accounting records, then delete them. Ask us to delete your data sooner at [email protected], except what we must keep by law.
Children
This site is for adults interested in real estate. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be announced in the newsletter.
